Keep Jordan Botta on Allegheny County Council

Jordan Botta is the current Allegheny County Councilmember for District 13, a proud fifth-generation resident of the district, and a lifelong advocate for equity, economic opportunity, and good government that delivers for everyday people.
Jordan has lived in Bloomfield, Lawrenceville, and Brighton Heights, and he knows firsthand the challenges and strengths of the communities he represents. As Executive Director of the Three Rivers Business Alliance—Pittsburgh’s LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce—he leads efforts to support diverse small businesses and inclusive economic development across the region.
With over a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership and community organizing, Jordan has built strong relationships at every level of government. He’s known as someone who shows up, listens, and gets results.
Appointed to County Council with near-unanimous support from his colleagues, Jordan hit the ground running—meeting with department heads, labor leaders, public safety officials, and community stakeholders to fight for affordable housing, accessible public transit, inclusive growth, and transparent, modern government.
He is also:
Jordan is committed to a vision of Allegheny County where everyone has a fair shot—and where government works for all of us.
Everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to call home. I'm committed to expanding affordable housing options for working families, increasing support for tenants, and investing in smart development that keeps our communities livable—not just profitable for developers.
Government should work for the people—not make life harder. As Chair of the Committee on Information Technology and Process Improvement, I’m focused on modernizing county services, streamlining outdated systems (like pet licensing), and building government that meets people where they are—online and in real time.
Transit is a public good and a lifeline. I support strengthening Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT), expanding access across underserved communities, and investing in smarter infrastructure that connects people to jobs, healthcare, and opportunity.
As Executive Director of the Three Rivers Business Alliance, I’ve championed diverse and LGBTQ-owned small businesses. I’ll keep working to ensure Allegheny County’s economic growth includes everyone—not just the well-connected few.
I believe in safe, healthy neighborhoods where people can thrive. That means addressing public safety through prevention and partnership, investing in public health infrastructure, and showing up for communities with real support.
I’ve stood in solidarity with working families—as a former delegate to the Allegheny-Fayette Labor Council and as a councilmember. I support union jobs, prevailing wages, and making sure working people are at the center of our economy.
